A Private Family Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date for Aaron Lars Spiers, 28 of Seminary, who passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Aaron was born on February 22, 1990 in Slidell, Louisiana.  He was a loving son, father, and brother.  Aaron was a carpenter by trade. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Seminary.

He was preceded in death by his father, Reese Spiers, Jr.; one brother, Andrew Spiers; his maternal grandmother, Cheryle McClendon; his paternal grandfather, Reese Spiers, Sr.; his paternal great-grandfather, Charles Davis; and his paternal great-grandfather, Osburn Riels.

Survivors include his parents, Dawn McClendon Riels and Brad Riels of Seminary; his son, Connor Spiers of Richton; one brother, Ryan Spiers, and his wife, Brittany of Hattiesburg; two nieces, Parris Troglen, and Sydni Spiers, both of Hattiesburg; maternal grandfather, Rudy McClendon of Grenada; his paternal grandmother, Dianne Spiers of Picayune; his paternal grandmother, Ellen Coats of Hattiesburg; his paternal great-grandmother, Rosie Davis of Picayune; his paternal great-grandmother, Rosie Riels of Seminary;  and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
