Obituary

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Smyrna Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Seminary for Alisa Nichole Pace, 15 of Collins, who passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Brother Gary Bridges and Brother Steve Ellis will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Smyrna Landmark Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary.  Special music will be provided by Mrs. Ann Ingram.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will start at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2020 and from 9:00 a.m. till service time on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Smyrna Landmark Missionary Baptist Church on Smyrna Road in Seminary, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Bernard, Brad Johnson, Conner Jones, Trace Klug, Will Broadhead, Cody Quick, Trent Quick, Seth Mauldin, and Brandon Hicks.  Honorary pallbearers will be James Watts, Robert Sanford, Logan Kelly, Brandon Pack, and the members of the Seminary Lady Bulldogs High School Softball Team.

Alisa was born on March 5, 2005 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Stephen and Nichole Trussell Pace.  She was a ninth grade Honor Roll student at the Seminary High School and a member of the Seminary Lady Bulldogs High School Softball Team.  Alisa was a member of the Smyrna Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.  She was very active in her church and extra-curricular activities at school.  Alisa was a beautiful and sweet young lady.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by them.

She was preceded in death by paternal great-grandmothers, Faye Lee Grygo and Lucille Madden; her paternal great-grandfather, Brown Pace; her maternal great-grandparents, Bennie and Dorothy Phillips; and her great aunt, Beverly Burks.

Survivors include her parents, Stephen and Nichole Trussell Pace of Seminary; two brothers, Dustin Trussell, and his wife, Emily and Nathan Pace, all of Seminary; her paternal grandparents, Larry and Denise Pace of Seminary; her maternal grandparents, Billy and Lisa Trussell of Richton; maternal great-grandmother, Billie Trussell of Columbus; aunts and uncles, Mindy and Jordan Cochran and their children of Petal, April and Jonathan Byrd and their children of Richton, and Angie and Dallas Stringer, and their children of Seminary; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
