Alton Estus Boleware

(August 7, 1939 – October 18, 2020)

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Lone Star Cemetery in Collins for Alton Estus Boleware, 81 of Seminary, who passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at his residence.

Reverend Glenn Shoemake will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Lone Star Cemetery in Collins.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Billy Boleware, Ted Davis, Stan Pedigo, Danny Sanford, Bob Smith, and Rufus Trigg.

Alton was born on August 7, 1939 in Seminary, Mississippi.  He attended Seminary High School and made his career in the logging industry.  Alton was known far and wide as an expert woodsman.  He was also an accomplished vehicle mechanic and gunsmith.  Alton was a Christian by faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Estus and Agnes Aultman Boleware; his wife, Amy Jane Sanford Boleware; his step-son, Keith Bridges; his sister, Linda Nell Boleware; his paternal grandparents, Walter and Fannie Davis Boleware; and his maternal grandparents, Otho and Mae McGrew Aultman .

Survivors include his special friend, Melissa J. Herrington of Seminary, as well as a host of dear friends and cousins.
