Mrs. Loring was born on March 25, 1924, in Covington County, Mississippi and one of six children born to Pad and Maybell Broome Aultman. She was a loving wife, mother, granny, and sister. Mrs. Loring retired after sixty plus years of service as one of the first beauticians in this area. She mentored many young women in this area as they began their careers as beauticians.
One of her favorite past times was spending time working in her yard and flowerbeds. Her flowers were enjoyed by the many neighbors and friends that would pass by or stop for a visit on her front porch. Mrs. Loring was affectionally known as Granny to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and took great joy in watching them grow up and prosper. Mrs. Loring was a sweet and kind person that touched so many lives during her ninety-eight years here on earth, and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pad and Maybell Broome Aultman; her husbands, William Clyde Miller, and James Calvin Loring; and her five siblings, Thomas Aultman, Kenneth Aultman, Bobby Ray Aultman, B.J. Aultman, and Velma Aultman O'Quinn.
Survivors include two sons, William C. "Buddy" Miller, and his wife, Susan, and John Harvey Miller, all of Collins; one daughter, Toy Miller Lyon, and her husband, Stan of Laurel; eight grandchildren, Shannon Miller, Starr Miller Hux (Philip), Jessica Miller, Josh Miller, Sydney Lyon Sago (Mike), Savanna Lyon, Sley Lyon, and Hanna Miller (Dave); eight great-grandchildren, Aultman Hux, Tucker Hux, Max Miller, Josie Miller, Trace Miller, Ava Miller, Kash McLaurin, and William Sago; and a host of nieces and nephews.
