Ann Stuckey Tolleson

(December 18, 1940 – March 23, 2026)

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Mount Olive Cemetery in Mount Olive for Ann Stuckey Tolleson, 85, of Mount Olive, who passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at St Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.

Brother Ramon Johnston will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Mount Olive Cemetery in Mount Olive, Mississippi.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mount Olive will be in charge of the arrangements,

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 205 South 4th Street, Mount Olive, Mississippi, 39119.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Travick, Larry Tolleson, David Martin, Tony Brashier, Wish Stuckey, and Brian Overstreet.

Honorary Pallbearers are:  Austin Almaguer, Ryan Almaguer and Chase Almaguer

Ann was born on December 18, 1940, in Mount Olive, Mississippi to Estus W. Stuckey and Edith Thornton Stuckey.  She was a graduate of Mount Olive High School.  Ann married the love of her life, Terrell Devon Tolleson, on October 19, 1963, in Houston, Texas.  She enjoyed several business ventures including Tolleson's Grocery Store, T.-Ann-T. Trucking, and T-Ann-T BBQ restaurant in Mount Olive.  She was most of her award of "Mississippi Restauranteur of the Year."  Ann was a member of the Mount Olive First Baptist Church and long-time choir member.  She had a beautiful voice and sang on the local radio station in Magee.  Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and she will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Estus W. and Edith Thornton Stuckey; her husband of fifty-nine years, Terrell Tolleson; and one daughter, Patti Tolleson Skidmore; six brothers, Sennett, Junior, John, Joe, Billy, and Charles Ray; and three sisters, Bobbie Jean, Virginia, and Sammie.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Tolleson Almaguer, and her husband, Randy of The Woodlands, Texas.; a brother-in-law, Joe Tolleson, and his wife, Patsy of Mount Olive; a son-in-law, Mark Skidmore of Laurel; her beloved grandchildren, Rev. Austin Almaguer (Alison), Ryan Almaguer (Kendall), Chase Almaguer (Marcela), Tara Gunter (Scott), and Leslie Shoemaker; seven great-grandchildren, Lydia, Tra, Molly, Fisher, Zora, Eiza, and Max; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Mount Olive First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 143, Mount Olive, Mississippi, 39119.  They also want to express their gratitude to the Arrington Living Center in Collins for their loving care.
