Anna Lee Garcia

(July 23, 1954 – March 24, 2022)

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Anna Lee Garcia, 67 of Collins, who passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Dr. Joseph Bird will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Leaf River Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins.  Special music will be provided by Mr. Kevin Polk.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.

Pallbearers will James Rodrigue, Jay Magee, Aaron Billiot, Nick Dupre, Triston Dearman and Donald Welch.  Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Dearman, Duval "T-Boy" Ledet, Kent Dearman, Peyton Dearman, and Travis Dearman.

Mrs. Garcia was born on Friday, July 23, 1954 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Lee and Mary Madelyn Solet Landry.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  Mrs. Garcia retired after twelve years of service in the mail room of the Houma Courier.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Mary Madelyn Solet Landry; eight brothers, Donald Landry, Raymond Landry, Wilton Landry, Ronald Landry, Sidney Lodrigue, Paul Lodrigue, Francis Landry, and Milton Landry; and two sisters, Linda Standel and Kitty Landry.

Survivors include one son, James Rodrigue (Allison) of Collins; three daughters, Esther "Mooney" Rodrigue Magee (Jay) and Ernesta Lynn Rodrigue Dearman (Ricky), all of Collins, and Jerrica Francis Ledet (Duval) of Sumrall; nine grandchildren, Aubrie Ledet, Harper Ledet, Landry Magee, Brielle Rodrigue, Kaden Theriot, Sidney Rodrigue, Sullyn Rodrigue, Amanda Carver, and Taylor Dearman; two great-grandchildren, Ashton Graves, and Woodson Graves; three sisters, Ginger Landry of Abbeville, Louisiana, Doris Billot of Dularge, Louisiana, and Mary Champagne of Theriot, Louisiana; and a host of nieces and nephews.
