Annie Clara Mitchell
(January 4, 1932 – June 2, 2025)

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, June 6, 2025 at the Willow Grove Baptist Church in Collins for Annie Clara Mitchell, 93 of Mendenhall, who passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 at her residence.
Brother Lee Faler and Brother Earl Clark will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Willow Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins.   Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive guests from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall, 3077 MS-13 Mendenhall, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
Annie was married to Reverend Dewitt Mitchell for seventy-two years. She retired from Bell South Telephone Company after thirty-five years in 1991. She dedicated her life to serving God and taking care of her family. Annie was a loving wife, mother, nana, and friend to all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Dewitt Mitchell; parents, Frank High and Bertha McCarty High; two sisters, Virgie Frances High Welch and Nettie Marie High Mitchell.
Survivors include her son, David Mitchell (Laurie) of Mendenhall and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
