Baby Merida Grace Schurb

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2020 at the Cold Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins for Baby Merida Grace Schurb, 0 of Seminary, who passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Reverend West Garner will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Cold Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins.  A balloon release will be held after the graveside service in Merida's memory.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2020 at The Springs Church in Collins.

Pallbearers will be Blake Maxwell and Michael Miles.

She was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Billy Ray and Linda Tuggle, and Josephine Giddens; paternal great-grandparents, Edmond and Hattie Fagan and R.L. and Mildred Hust.

Survivors include her parents, Tony and Taylor Cockrell Schurb of Seminary; one brother, Gabriel Windham of Seminary; maternal grandparents, Angela and Guy Cockrell of Seminary; paternal grandparents, Ginny and Mike Hust of Seminary, and Duane Schurb Jr. and Amy Blice of Hattiesburg; maternal great-grandparents, Lyndel and Dennis R. Cockrell of Magee; paternal great-grandparents, Duane Sr. and Janelle Schurb of Hattiesburg; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
