Barbara "Blaze" Albrecht Minter

(February 11, 1953 – April 20, 2026)

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the Moore Family Cemetery in Seminary for Barbara "Blaze" Albrecht Minter, 73 of Brandon and Formerly of Collins, who passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the Brandon Community Care Center in Brandon.

Reverend West Garner will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Moore Family Cemetery in Seminary. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Dominic Johnson, Dylan Sears, Emil Albrecht, and John Albrecht.

Mrs. Minter was born on February 11, 1953, in Rye, New York to Robert Albrecht and Constance Vogt Albrecht. She was a riding instructor in the horse training industry for numerous years. Mrs. Minter was a member of The Springs Church in Collins. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Albrecht and Constance Vogt Albrecht; her husband, Clyde Thomas Minter; and one son, Garrett Newkirk Ritch.

Survivors include two daughters, Velvet Ritch (Dominic) of Dayton, Texas and Willow Ritch of Colorado; one brother, John Albrecht (Juliette) of New Orleans, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Hadley Johnson, Hootie Johnson, and Rayne Ritch; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
