Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Barry Anthony Smith, 57 of Collins, who passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in Collins, Mississippi.

Brother Wesley Kirkley will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Lone Star Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive friends from12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi.

The pallbearers will be Richard Porter, Ben Napier, Mike Hollingsworth, Ryley Patterson, and Tommy Sena.

Barry's daughter, Danielle, was his pride and joy and the center of his life. It brought him great joy to care and do things for her. Barry loved classic cars, animals, flipping vehicles, and selling things at Estate Sales. He was dependable and always a phone call away. He enjoyed riding around, drinking diet cokes, and browsing Facebook Marketplace. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Smith and two uncles, Ed Hudson and Lloyd Hudson.

Survivors include his daughter, Danielle Smith of Hattiesburg; his mother, Ruth Hudson Smith of Collins; two brothers, Joey Smith (Donna) of Sumrall and Ricky Smith of Sumrall and one sister, Angie Argyle of Jackson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
