Beatrice Forbes Kidd Hicks

(March 7, 1934 – August 27, 2020)

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Beatrice Forbes Kidd Hicks, 86 of Many, Louisiana, and formerly of Seminary, who passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the Many Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Many, Louisiana.

Interment will be in the Union South Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Hicks was born on March 7, 1934 in Goss, Mississippi.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  Mrs. Hicks retired after numerous years of service as a private duty nurse's assistant.  She attended the Union South Baptist Church in Seminary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson Columbus "N.C." Forbes

and Cecil Mae Taylor Forbes; her husband, Austin Hilburn; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Theresa Forbes Fields, and a brother, Robert Nelson Forbes.

Survivors include her husband, Hershel Hicks of Seminary; two daughters, Wanda Stevens of Zwolle, Louisiana, and Barbara Blancett of Columbia; one son, Robert Austin Hilburn of Many, Louisiana; three sisters, Sadie Dement of Hattiesburg, Billie Jean Green of Columbia, and Betty Sue Sumrall of Laurel; fourteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
