Belinda Gail Allen

(October 6, 1961 – November 22, 2022)

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Belinda Gail Allen, 61 of Collins, who passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA.

Reese Douglas Jr. will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Mount Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins.   Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3302 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be Chad Stewart, Eric Windham, Cameron Windham, Ethan Banister, Joe Patrick, and Teague Banister. Honorary pallbearers will be Chester Patrick.

Belinda was married to the love of her life, Bobby Carl Allen for forty-two years. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.

Ms. Allen was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Ponder and Lena Sellers Ponder.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Carl Allen of Collins, MS; one son, Dusty Allen of Collins; two daughters, Valerie Allen Bruce of Collins, MS and April Allen Patrick (Joe) of Laurel, MS; two sisters, Wanda Stewart (Robby) of Collins and Joy Windham of Seminary; three grandsons, Hadden Allen, Ethan Banister and Chester Patrick and one granddaughter, Emma Banister.
