Bernice Abercrombie Jones, 97, of Collins, MS died Thursday, December 08, 2016 at her residence. She was born Saturday, December 28, 1918 in Seminary, MS.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at Billy M. Mrs. Bernice is preceded in death by her parents, Ike and Mandy Sanford Abercrombie; husband, Stafford Jones; son, Buck Dallas Jones; son-in-law, John Laney, brothers, Hubert Abercrombie, Tom Abercrombie, Jimmy Abercrombie; sister, Christine Rogers and granddaughter, Theresa Montana Jones.

Survivors include her daughter, Jerrie Jones Laney, Oklahoma City, OK; son, Houston Jones (Linda), Collins, MS; brother, Hardy Abercrombie (Katherine), Seminary, MS, sisters, Hester Quick, Collins, MS and Rachel Knight, Collins, MS; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Hamilton, Andy Jones, Guy Easterling, Chuck Chain, Collette Wade and Don Keyes.
