Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Olive for Bettie Jean Kelly Davis, 83 of Collins, who passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at her residence..
Brother Randy Sanford and Brother Lentz West will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Olive. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Sharanda Hopkins and Mrs. Denise Davis. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
Mrs. Davis was born on December 22, 1937 in Collins, Mississippi to Haywood "Doc" Kelly and Lucille Miller Kelly. She was a loving wife, mother, and maw-maw. Mrs. Davis and her late husband, Billy Ray Davis were the owners and operators of Bill's Buy and Sale in Collins for numerous years. She was a member of the Jesus Name Apostolic Church in Seminary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Haywood "Doc" Kelly and Lucille Miller Kelly; and her husband, Billy Ray Davis.
Survivors include one daughter, Benita Gaye Davis of Collins; one son, Kelly Lee Davis, and his wife, Denise of Collins; two grandchildren, Brandon Scott Farmer and Alana Lea Ledet; two step grandchildren, Will Lack (Dana) and Matthew Lack; four grandchildren, Lauren Ledet, Ashlin Ledet, Katlin Ledet, and Mason Ledet; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Sanford of Seminary, Jewel West of Biloxi, and Shaunah Alexandra of mobile, Alabama, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
