Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the The Blended Church in Seminary for Betty Jean Revette, 79 of Seminary, who passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, at her residence in Seminary.
Pastor Timothy Hopkins and Brother Milton Williams will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Lynn DeBuque and Mr. Steven Sanford. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive guests from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the The Blended Church, 932 Highway 590 in Seminary Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Logan Craft, Gage Craft, Corey Jones, Cayden Starr, Myles Revette, and Kyzar Revette. Honorary pallbearers will be Haidyn Hicks, Cohen Hicks, Taegyn Jones, Easton Fortenberry, and Colin Grissett.
Betty was a faithful servant of Jesus whose life overflowed with love, prayer, and kindness. She never met a stranger and was always ready to share God's word and pray with anyone, anywhere. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and her prayers touched countless hearts, even those she had never met. She loved everyone she encountered with genuine warmth and grace, living out Christ's love daily. Her legacy of unwavering faith, compassion, and joyful service will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
She was preceded in death by her son; Stacy Revette; daughter, Shonna Revette; her parents, Ernest Sanford and Clara Lott Sanford; brothers, Willis Sanford, Paul Sanford, Douglas Sanford, David Sanford and Ernest Sanford, Jr. and one sister, JoAnn Sanford Loveless.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-four years, Larry Revette of Seminary; one daughter, Connie Revette Craft (Greg) of Seminary; seven grandchildren, Louie Revette, Carrissa Craft Daley (Quinn) of Seminary, Nathan Craft (Nikki) of Seminary, Candice Craft Hicks (Adam) of Seminary, Tiffany Sifers of Waxahachie, Texas, Brittany Sifers of Waxahachie, Texas and Kristen Revette of Seminary; one brother, Billy Sanford (Faye) of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; sixteen grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
