Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the First Baptist Church Of Sanford for Billie T. Duplessy, 83 of Seminary, who passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Bro. Brian Dickens will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Bullock Cemetery in Sanford. Special music will be provided by Bro. Brian Dickens. Billy M, King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the First Baptist Church Of Sanford.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Duplessy, Steve Duplessy, Nicholas Crowe, Todd Liles, Jonathan Watts, James Watts, Bubba Craft, and Charles Griffith. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Miller, Marty Watts and Michael Taormina
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fulton "Babe" Duplessy Sr.; parents, Ance and Josephine Cascio Taormina; daughters, Mary Ann Weathers and Donna Jackson; brother, Sam Taormina and sisters, Mary Ethel Cascio, Pauline Mallamace.
Survivors include her children, Fulton Duplessy Jr., Chalmete, LA, Gregory Duplessy, Chalmete, LA, Diane Chain (Morgan), Mt. Olive, MS, Billy Shoemake (Belinda), Collins, MS, Wayne Duplessy (Donna), Magnolia, MS, Steve Duplessy (Keila), Petal, MS, Vicki Miller (Matt), Seminary, MS; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; siblings, Anne Mulay Blackwell, Seminary, MS, Sarah Sullivan (John), Seminary, MS, Mary Ann Bullock, Seminary, MS, Willie Joe Taormina, Seminary, MS, Emmett Taormina (Jean), Sumrall, MS, Penny Taormina (Shirley), Seminary, MS, Leo Taormina (Jo Ann), Sumrall, MS and Nancy Ann Aultman (Marlin), Sumrall, MS.
