Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the McDonald Chapel Cemetery in Collins for Billy "Billy Mac" Howell McDonald, 67 of Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017.
Reverend Ben B. James will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the McDonald Chapel Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the local arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3302 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi, 39428.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Houma with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Falgout Funeral Home in Houma will be in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
Mr. McDonald was born on April 23, 1950 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was a graduate of the Class of 1969 at Mantachie High School, and attended Itawamba Community College where he played football. Mr. McDonald served as a pastor in North Mississippi early in his career, and later worked in the Oilfield Industry. He was the owner and operator of Taylormade Tools and Billy Mc's Bar in Houma. Mr. McDonald was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Houma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Colleen Bucklew McDonald; his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Millie Bucklew; and his paternal grandparents, Sam and Rose McDonald.
Survivors include his wife of thirty five years, Tamie McDonald of Houma, Louisiana; four children, Billy Sam McDonald of Houma, Louisiana, Jesse Lee McDonald of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Arleen McDonald of Birmingham, Alabama, and Bradly McDonald of Atlanta, Georgia; one grandchild, Kana McDonald; and three brothers, Kyle McDonald of Jacksonville, Florida, Danny McDonald of Collins, Mississippi, and Tim McDonald of Houma, Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
