Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home for Mrs. Bobbie Harvey Miller, 77 of Collins, who passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 at her residence.

Reverend David McNeil and Reverend Mike Davis will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Cold springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Pauline Lightsey, Mrs. Babette Duty, and Mr. Jonathan Flynt. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.

Mrs. Miller was born on November 8, 1939 in Collins, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Miller, and her late husband, Jerry, owned and operated Miller Staking, Inc. in Collins for numerous years. She was a member of the Cold Springs Baptist Church and attended the Grace Outreach Baptist Church in Seminary. Mrs. Miller was very active in the Women's Missionary Union and the Samaritan's Purse-Operation Christmas Child.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burton and Vada Shoemake Harvey; and her husband of fifty-six years, Jerry Miller.

Survivors include two daughters, Leah Miller Cox, and her husband, Denny of Sparta, Tennessee, and Linda Miller Kiser and her husband, Scott of Collins; one grandson, William Miller Blain of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and a special friend and caregiver, Della Magee of Collins.
