Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Bobby Wayne Aultman, 88 of Seminary, who passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Reverend Boyd Thrash and Reverend Michael Kelly will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Seminary Cemetery in Seminary. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Michael Kelly, Christopher Sanford, William Folkes, Zack Blackwell, Brad Young, Bland Young, David Hemeter, Jerry Robertson and Jim Crosby. Honorary pallbearers will be his Basketball Buddies and David Cullop.
Mr. Aultman was born on October 8, 1935 in Seminary, Mississippi to Burl and Tina Mae Norris Aultman. He was a graduate of the Seminary High School Class of 1956, and earned an Associates of Arts degree from Jones County Junior College in 1958. Mr. Aultman retired from the transportation department of Green Oil Company after thirty plus years of service. He was a member of the Seminary Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Tina Mae Norris Aultman; one brother, Billy Burl Aultman; and one sister, Barbara Aultman Young.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-six years, Cathey Pickering Aultman of seminary; three daughters, Cindy Aultman Sanford (Danny) and Lisa Aultman Kelly (Ronnie), both of Seminary, and Karen Aultman Folkes (Wayne) of Hattiesburg; three sisters, Jean Nord (John) of Terry, Betty Broome (Charles) of Mount Olive, and Shirley MacGowan of Madison; a sister-in-law, Mary Carol Aultman of Seminary; five grandchildren, Michael Kelly (Melissa), Carolyn Kelly, Christopher Sanford (Ashtin), William Folkes (Adrianna), and Katie Folkes Blackwell (Zack); six great-grandchildren, Bellah Kelly, Bailee Kelly, Bowen Kelly, Henley Sanford, Dawson Sanford, and Maribel Lou Sanford; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
