Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Brenda Jordan Rhodes, 76 of Collins, who passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at her residence.
Reverend Blake McDaniel and Reverend Ken Roberts will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Williamsburg Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Susan Deen and Mrs. Babette Duty. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
Pallbearers will be John Rhodes, Ben Ford, James R. Jordan, Adam Seyfarth, Jimmy Jordan, and Jeff Jordan. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Rhodes, Eric Watts, and Ken Moulds.
Mrs. Rhodes was born on July 22, 1945 in Marion County, Mississippi to Mooney F. and Iva Dale Moulds Jordan. She was a loving wife, mother, maw-maw, and sister. Mrs. Rhodes was the owner and operator of Maw-Maw's Day Care Center for numerous years before her retirement. She loved and nurtured every child that she kept. Mrs. Rhodes was a member of the Williamsburg Baptist Church in Collins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Marshall "Dusty" Rhodes; her parents, Mooney F. and Iva Dale Moulds Jordan; and one brother, Don Allen Jordan.
Survivors include one daughter, Frankie Rhodes Ford, and her husband, Ben of Collins; one son, John M. Rhodes, and his wife, Tabitha of Collins; four grandchildren, Meagan Ford Seyfarth, and her husband, Adam, Erin Ford Watts, and her husband, Eric, Jayden Rhodes, and Karsyn Rhodes; one brother, James R. Jordan Sr., and his wife, Carol of Collins; one sister, Rosemary Jordan Ezell of Collins; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Jordan of Collins; a brother-in-law, Danny Rhodes, Sr. of Gastonia, North Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews.
