Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April18, 2017 at the Seminary Baptist Church for Bryan Hunter Atwood, 15 of Seminary, who passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Reverend Chad Cummins, Brother Gary Bridges, and Brother Livingston will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Atwood Cemetery in Seminary. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, and from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Seminary Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be the members of the Seminary High School Baseball Team. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Seminary Middle School Baseball Team.

Mr. Atwood was born on March 22, 2002 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was an 8th grade student at the Seminary Attendance Center.

Survivors include his parents, Bryan E. and Catherine N. Atwood of Seminary; three sisters, Samantha Decuir and her husband, Griffith, Katelyn Baker, and Brianna Atwood, all of Seminary; paternal grandparents, Hershel E. and Susie farmer Atwood; maternal grandparents, Guy and Betty Aycock of Lumberton; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the People's Bank in Collins or the Priority One Bank in Seminary.
