Captain Billy F. Lott, 83, of Bay Saint Louis, MS died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Comfort Care Nursing Center in Laurel, MS. He was born Tuesday, May 23, 1933 in Collins, MS.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins, MS. Charlie 'Catfish' Buckley will officiate. Billy M King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Captain Billy was a general Aviation private pilot. He was an accomplished boat captain and officer in the Merchant Marine. He navigated all 7 seas and navigated vessels across the globe, including multiple passages through the Panama Canal.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Lott; his parents, BF Lott and Hilda Lott; two brothers, Claude Ray Lott and Harold D. Lott.

Survivors include his son, Brian Lott (Victoria), Hoschton, GA, son, Billy Alan Lott (Melissa), Collins, MS, grand children, Kellie Saulters (Joel), Hunter Alan Lott, Katherine Leigh Dees, great grand child, Kinley Grace Saulters, and first wife, Georgena Sullivan Lott.
