Catherine Ann "Kathy" Mathis Lytle
(March 22, 1947 – May 28, 2025)

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Catherine Ann "Kathy" Mathis Lytle, 78 of Collins, who passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Brother Wade Mathis will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Lone Star Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Family will receive guests from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas West, Jonathan Turner, Jennifer Turner, Bruce Spillman, Jim Buras, and Jeff Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Mathis and Joel McRaney.
Kathy was a loving Wife, Mother, Nanny, Sister and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, flowers, watching game shows and spending time with family. She will be dearly missed by her family and the Lone Star Community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Mathis and Nollie Aultman Butler; two brothers, Jimmy Mathis and Alton Mathis and two sisters, Doris Temple and Theresa Halbert.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-nine years, Dennis Lytle of Collins, daughter, Shree West Turner of Collins, son, Allen West of Hattiesburg, twin daughters Tracy West  and Stacy West of Collins; one step-daughter Dede Lytle Buras of Purvis and one brother, Terry Mathis (Sherry) of Clem, and seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
