Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the Bullock Cemetery in Seminary for Charlene Rainey Dearman, 85 of Seminary, who passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Merit Health-Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg.
Reverend Clay Allen Ingram will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Bullock Cemetery in Seminary. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
Mrs. Dearman was born on July 13, 1936 in Seminary, Mississippi to Louis and Bessie Ishee Rainey. She was one of five children. Mrs. Dearman was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Sanford until her health declined. Mrs. Dearman loved God, her family, and her church family. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Dearman; her parents, Louis and Bessie Ishee Rainey; one sister, Lois Rainey Ingram; three brothers, Haskel Rainey, Stanley Rainey, and Jerry Rainey; and a great-granddaughter, Anaiah Faith Ingram.
Survivors include her children, Debbie and David, and Danny and Diane, all of Seminary, and Rev. Clay Allen and Rose of Hattiesburg; nine grandchildren, Wayne (Jill), LeAnna (Willis), Paul (Heather Diane), Rebecca (Jayrov), Scott (April), Jammie, Jennifer (Cassy), Kayla, and Kaytee (Thomas); thirty great-grandchildren; fifteen great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces nephews, and other family members.
