Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 3, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Charles Melvin Bullock, 84 of Seminary, who passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Dr. Tim Hubbard and Reverend Glenn Shoemake will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Seminary Cemetery with military rites at graveside. Special music will be provided by Susan and Ricky Deen. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
Pallbearers will be Russell Bullock, Jim Crosby, Roman Shoemake, Craig Bullock, Odius Stringer, and Mason Stringer. Honorary pallbearers will be Hoyt Holston, Basil Blackwell, Scottie Blackwell, Billy Blackwell, Donald Bullock, Jerry Bullock, Joe Max Bullock, Felton Aultman, Ralph Bullock, and Kelton Bullock.
Mr. Bullock was born on January 12, 1933 in Seminary, Mississippi. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Bullock retired from the maintenance department of Cal-Maine Foods and Dairy Fresh after thirty plus years of service. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Bullock was a member of the Seminary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Fairl Aultman Bullock.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Mollie Crosby Bullock of Seminary; two sons, Wayne Bullock and his wife, Dena of Gravette, Arkansas, and Keith Bullock and his wife, Dawn of Seminary; three grandchildren, Morgan Bullock Shoemake and her husband Roman of Collins, Richard Bullock and Cody Bullock, both of Gravette, Arkansas; two great-grandchildren, Stella Shoemake and Camille Shoemake, both of Collins; one sister, Janell Bullock Holston of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two brothers, Jimmy Bullock and his wife, Doris of Laurel and Freddy Bullock of Seminary; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
