Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Willow Grove Baptist Church Cemetery for Charles Wayne Mitchell, 59 of Collins, who passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Canton Manor Nursing Home in Canton.

Reverend W.M. Dickens will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Willow Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  Billy M, King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Mitchell was born on November 15, 1959 in Collins, Mississippi.  He was a loving and kind hearted son and brother.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.  Mr. Mitchell was a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Wayne Mitchell; his grandparents, Sherman and Gertrude Mitchell, and Bennett Sterling.

Survivors include his mother, Sarah Nell Sterling Mitchell of Collins; four brothers, Darrell Mitchell (Diana) of Collins, John Scott Mitchell (Shirley) of Nesbit, Rex S. Mitchell of Collins, and Randall B. Mitchell of Collins; his maternal grandmother, Christine Sterling of Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
