Charles Gaylon Rowell

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Billy M. King – Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Charles Gaylon Rowell, 70, of Collins, who passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

Brother Wayne Hebert will officiate the service with interment to follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins. Music will be provided by Jerry Williamson and Jennifer Crosby. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Billy M. King – Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 US 49, Collins, MS.

Pallbearers will be Colby Rowell, Will Broadhead, Shelton Meeler, Buddy Barr, Brian Craft, and Tyler Craft.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Betty Rowell; and five brothers, Eddie Rowell, Wayne Rowell, David Rowell, Mike Rowell, and Keith Rowell.

Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Charlotte Herrin Rowell of Collins; children, Charles Rowell (Chanda) of Collins and Megan Craft (Brian) of Seminary; brother, Gary Don Rowell (Sue) of Vossburg, Mississippi; sister, Cathy Baker (Tommy) of Vossburg; four grandchildren, Colby Rowell, Chloe Rowell Broadhead (Will), Tyler Craft, and Candice Craft; one great-grandchild, Dawsyn Broadhead; and a host of extended family members and friends.
