Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins, Mississippi for Charles Ramsey "Trey" McQueen III, 47 of, who passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Reverend Paul Keyes will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at Billy M. King Funeral Home, Collins, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Jason Leonard, Greg McDonald, Brad Green, Christian McQueen, Kelly McGlocklin, Tim McGlocklin, Mike Leggett, Chuck Meadows, Billy Joe Lott, and Rocky Bryant. Honorary pallbearers will be John Barnes and Frankie Owens.
Trey was born on Saturday, May 26, 1973, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was a loving son, brother, nephew, and friend. He was a 1992 graduate of Mize High School. He was the owner and operator of McQueen Timber Company, LLC, of Collins, Mississippi. He enjoyed spending times with his grandkids, cooking, spending time in the outdoors, and helping everyone as much as he could. But most of all his passion was spending time in the woods. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles McQueen; one brother, Mark Henderson; and grandparents, Ramsey and Lucille Sartin McQueen and Millard and Cora Lingle.
Survivors include his loving mother, Lucy Lingle Jones and husband, Richard, of Hattiesburg; one sister, Debora Henderson Long and husband, Dr. Cecil Allen Long and her daughter Lucy Allen Long of Birmingham, AL; former wife, Felisha McQueen of Mize; three daughters, Kristen Martin, Danielle Ponder, and Ashley Ponder; three grandchildren, Adalynn Lott, Maverick Ramsey Hosey, and Cooper Martin; and a host of other family members and friends.
