Christine Kitchens

(August 22, 1940 – February 10, 2024)

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the Union Baptist Church in Seminary for Christine Kitchens, 83 of Seminary, who passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at her residence in Seminary, Mississippi.

Reverend Barry Armstrong will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary.  Special music will be provided by Jeremy Johnson.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:30 am on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the Union Baptist Church, 91 Union Church Road, Seminary, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be Logan Kitchens, Jonathan Morgan, Patrick Kitchens, Phillip Keen, Don Seefong, and Michael Watkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Seefong, Claude Graves, and Nick Graves.

Christine was married to the love of her life, Pat, for sixty years. She was a member of Union South Baptist Church and was a member of the Women's ministry. She was a caring, compassionate, and giving person, and had a good sense of humor. Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister to all who knew her and she will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.P. Ingram, Sr. and Rosetta Crosby Ingram; one brother, John Edd Buck Ingram; and one sister, Audrey Mae Ingram Cregger.

Survivors include her husband Pat Kitchens of Seminary, one son, John Kitchens (Jodi) and one daughter, Sharron Kitchens Seefong (Don) both of Seminary;  two brothers, Henry Ingram (Bennie Rae) of Ellisville and J.P. Ingram, Jr. of Seminary; two sisters, Donna Ingram and Grace Ingram of Seminary; three grandsons, Jonathan Morgan (Rachell), Patrick Kitchens, and Logan Kitchens all of Seminary; two granddaughters, Crystal Kitchens Keen (Phillip) of Seminary and Tori Walley Passman (Anthony) of Petal; one great grandson, Briggs Passman of Petal; five great granddaughters, Paige Dickerson of Collins, Kira Richard, Jayla Keen and Vayda Keen of Seminary and Reagan Passman of Petal.
