Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Clara Mae Knotts Revis, 75, of Mendenhall, who passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Reverend Chris Cromwell will officiate at the services with additional comments from Mr. Tinker Graves. Interment will follow in the Union South Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary. Music will be provided by Mr. Jeremy Johnson and Mr. Tinker Graves. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Johnathan Morgan, Robert Ashworth, John Robert Thompson, Dicky Davis, Shawn Calhoun, Blaine Jordan, Lee Pope, and Adam Graves.
Ms. Clara was born on May 1, 1948, in Jones County to Julius and Rosie Knotts. She graduated from Seminary High School and worked in the Hydro Aluminum (now R Square) factory for many years. A tough woman with a great big heart, Ms. Clara never allowed any of her family members to be in need. She loved to read, bake, and spend time with her family, and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Julius W. Knotts; mother, Rosie Lee Bates Knotts; daughter, Tina Windham; brothers, Mack Arthur Knotts, Julius "Squeeky" Knotts, Carl Knotts and James Knotts; sisters, Barbara Mooney and Francis Knotts; great grandchild, Zoey Jordan.
Survivors include her daughters, Beth Boleware Graves (Tinker) of Sumrall, MS, Donna Boleware Jordan (Joe) of Vicksburg, Casey Revis Pope (Robert) of Sumrall and Neda Revis of Mendenhall; grandchildren, Hannah Calhoun (Shawn), James Windham (Angela), Adam Graves, Kaitlyn Alexander, Blaine Jordan, Maddison Jordan (Austin Darnell), Randa Travis (Steven), Joey Jordan (Lauren), Ethan Brooks, Tyler Brooks, Natalyn Mangum, Jameson Mangum, Lee Pope (Marissa) and Ryan Pope; brother, Darrell Knotts of Seminary; sisters, Doris Knotts Herrington of Laurel, Audrey Cromwell of Sanatorium, Estelle Eaton of Sanatorium, Mary Thompson of Hattiesburg, Susie Russell of Seminary, Sally Knotts of Soso; great grandchildren, Noah Calhoun, Olivia Windham, Alexis Graves, X-Zavier Calhoun, Estus Windham, Maxton Graves, Alexander Calhoun, Axel Graves, Kali Windham, Harper Calhoun, Mariella Alexander, Chuy Alexander, Jadan Alexander, Tristan Jordan, Kaydan Jordan, Haley Travis, Steven Travis, Jr., Audrey Travis, Summer Travis, Maylee Jordan, Jackson Jordan; an expected great-great grandchild; and many extended family members and friends.
