Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Coal Town Cemetery in Purvis for Cora L. Green Dobson, 84 of Seminary, who passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Covington County Nursing Center in Collins.

Interment will be in the Coal Town Cemetery in Purvis. Billy M, King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.

Mrs. Dobson was born on October 6, 1933 in Purvis, Mississippi. She was a seamstress, working for numerous sewing factories in the area before her retirement. Mrs. Dobson was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Jackson Green and Ethel Maude Rose Green..

Survivors include two daughters, Susan L. Craft of Collins, and Cherrei Richardson of Harrison, Arkansas; two sons, Michael Dobson of Seminary and Stephen Dobson of Purvis; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
