Cristal was born on November 16, 1966, in Collins Mississippi to Marion Paul Mooney and Betty Ingram Mooney.  She was a graduate of the Collins High School Class of 1984, and the Jones County Junior College Class of 1986 with an Associate of Arts degree in music.  She also attended the University of Southern Mississippi.  Cristal was employed by Community Credit, Inc. in Collins for ten years as their office manager until her health declined.  She was a member of the Salem Baptist Church and shared her talent as one of their church pianists.

Cristal was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  She was always there when needed, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance.  Cristal's pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met.  Her battle with cancer in the recent years showed her courage in facing life challenges with a smile.  "Those who touch our lives stay in our hearts forever.'' Cristal was greatly loved by her family and will be deeply missed by them.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Ingram Mooney.

Survivors include her husband of ten years, Brian Lott of Collins; one son, John  Kimbrough, and his wife, Kelly of Collins; two daughters, Camille Kimbrough and Abby Kimbrough, both of Hattiesburg; her father, Marion Paul Mooney of Collins; her mother-in-law, Sandra Shoemake Lott of Collins; one sister, Angie Mooney Sanford, and her husband, Marty of Collins; one brother, Paul Mooney Jr., and his wife, Lauren of Madison; two grandchildren, Anna Kate Kimbrough and Noah Kimbrough, both of Collins;  one niece, Allison Sanford Burkhalter, and her husband, T.J. of Houston, Texas; two nephews, Josh Sanford, and his wife, Ashley of Hattiesburg, and Tripp Mooney of Madison; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in her memory to the Salem Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1628, Collins, MS. 39428.
