Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Billy M. King – Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Cynthia Diane Rogers Moore, 64, of Quitman, who passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.
Pastor Clay Williamson will officiate the services with interment to follow in the Bullock Cemetery in Seminary. Billy M. King – Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Billy M. King – Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Chance Honeycutt, Jason Council, Michael Rogers, Chad Pipkins, Kit Broom, and Brandon Mars.
Mrs. Moore was born on November 13, 1959, in Mobile, Alabama, to T.W. and Jolyn Rogers. She retired after many years of working in the construction industry. Cindy loved most anything outdoors. She loved to fish and go out on the water, and, for many years, she loved riding horses and just living out in the country. She enjoyed cooking out and spending time with family and friends and especially loved spending time with her granddaughter Jasley. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend, and she will be dearly missed by her family and community.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jolyn Brock Rogers.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Edward Moore of Quitman, Mississippi; father, T Weber Rogers of Seminary, Mississippi; sons, Jason Kitchens (Ashley) of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, and Colton Burden of Perkinston, Mississippi; step-children, Joseph Moore and Morgan Moore, both of Uriah, Alabama; one brother, Mike Rogers (Vesta) of Big Point, Mississippi; two sisters, Kelly Rogers (Terry) of Seminary and Stephanie Rogers Holder (Dion) of Hurley, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Ashton Hand and Jasley Diane Kitchens; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
