Daisy Mae Jones' Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in for Daisy Mae King Jones, 81 of Mount Olive, who passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Reverend John David Hall will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Ora Cemetery in Collins. Billy M, King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Hall, Ronnie Brogdon, Doug MacCachran, Ernie Cooke, David King, and Marcus Mathis.
Mrs. Jones was born on July 20, 1936 in Smith County, Mississippi. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Xavier King; and two sisters, Rosalee Darden and Hattie Luckey.
Survivors include three sons, Mark King (Patrese) of Petal, Junior King of Mount Olive, and Eddie Sullivan of Magee; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
