Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Daisy Roberts Lizana Windham, 77 of Collins, who passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019, at the Asbury House in Hattiesburg.
Reverend Dennis Campbell will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Collins City Cemetery in Collins. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Donna Campbell and Mr. Brad Smith. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
Pallbearers will be Mike Walker, Kevin Walker, Timmy Walker, J.R. Sellers, Jimmy Warren, and David Bender. Honorary pallbearers will be the Owners and Staff of The Blain Companies.
Mrs. Windham was born on April 27, 1942 in Seminary, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Windham retired from Quality Hospice after numerous years of service as a nurse's aide. She attended the Salem Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. Roberts and Edna Montgomery Roberts; her husband, Herman Lizana Sr.; three brothers, Charles M. Roberts, Thomas 'Shorty" Roberts, and James Roberts; five sisters, Mary Roberts Lott, June Roberts Jordan, Berniese Roberts McNeese, Emma Roberts Luga, and Sarah Roberts.
Survivors include her husband, John Thomas "Tommy" Windham of Collins; one daughter, Balinda Pegram of Mount Olive; one son, Jerry Hank McKenzie of Collins; two step- sons, Charles Arthur Windham of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Thomas Joseph Windham of Collins; one sister, Dorothy Turbeville (Tom) of Crestview, Florida; three grandchildren, Brandy Hosey Easterling (Jonathan) of Seminary, Amanda Hosey Williams (Clayton) of Collins, and Micah McKenzie of Petal; two great- grandchildren, Walker Jack Easterling and Baylee Grace Williams; nine step grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
