Obituary

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Dale "Julio" Anthony Rosado, Sr., 57 of Seminary, who passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at his residence.

Reverend West Garner will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the McDonald Chapel Cemetery. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.

Pallbearers will be Dale A. Rosado, Jr., Kevin Rosado, Derek Adam Rosado, Darrin Rosado, Adam Cluff, and David Dennis. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Hudson and Bruce McDonald.

Mr. Rosado was born on March 27, 1960 in Hialeah, Florida. He was a mechanic by trade and also worked in the security industry. Mr. Rosado was a member of the Cold Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed writing poetry in his free time.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hector Manuel Rosado; two brothers, Dennis Andrew Rosado and Harold Randall; and three grandchildren, Abigail Grace Carter, Sophie L. Rosado, and Samuel Allen McDonald.

Survivors include three sons, Dr. Dale A. Rosado, Jr., and his wife, Martha of Clinton, Kevin Rosado, and his wife, Mandy of Ellisville, and Derek Adam Rosado of Seminary; three daughters, Jody Hudson and her husband, Billy of Petal, Daphne Alicia Cluff and her husband, Adam of Seminary, and Anna Rosado McDonald and her husband, Bruce of Raleigh; one step daughter, Tyra K. Speed of Collins; his mother, Katherine Laverne Corbitt Rosado of Collins; his step mother, Anita L. Rosado of Amory; his ex-wife, and mother of his children, Eva Mae Rosado Speed and her husband, Kenneth of Collins; three sisters, Cheryl Dennis and her husband, Tony of Bassfield, Peggy Pietre of Amory, and Cindy Kelly and her husband, Roger of Amory; two brothers, Alex Rosado and his wife, Sandra of Vicksburg, and Darrin Rosado of Ocean Springs; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members, and friends.
