Dale Leonard Knight
(December 12, 1946 – November 22, 2023)

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Dale Leonard Knight, 76 of Seminary, who passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

Brother Wayne Hebert and Brother Steve Ellis will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Longview Landmark Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins.  Special music will be provided by Nathan and Joni Simmons.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Breakfield, Steve LaMadeleine, Nathan Simmons, Miles Graham, Frankie Graham, and Chandler Graham.

Mr. Knight was born on December 12, 1946 in Collins, Mississippi to Leonard Bradford Knight and Carlene Yawn Knight.  He was a graduate of the Seminary Attendance Center.  Mr. Knight was a United States Army veteran, and a Purple Heart recipient of the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from the United States Postal Service after thirty years of service as a rural mail carrier in Ellisville.  Mr. Knight was a member of the Center Ridge Missionary Baptist Church and was a former Sunday School teacher.  He was an avid gardener.  Mr. Knight was happiest when he was surrounded by his family

He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard Bradford Knight and Carlene Yawn Knight; and one sister, Glenda Knight Johnson.

Survivors include his wife of forty-nine years, Pauline Randall Knight of Seminary, MS; three daughters, Chandra Knight Graham (Frankie) of Seminary, Stacey Knight Serio of Lenoir City, Tennessee, and Jennifer Knight LaMadeleine (Steve) of Northport, Alabama; three sisters, Doris Knight Smith of Hattiesburg, Barbara Knight Harris of Collins, Linda Knight Smith of Ellisville; four grandchildren, Miles Graham, Chandler Graham, Colin Davis; and Ansley Serio; and a host of nieces and nephews.
