Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019 at the Sanford Missionary Baptist Church in Seminary for Darren Sennett Shows, 53 of Seminary, who passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at his residence.

Elder Joe Lott, Elder Wayne Woolwine, and Reverend West Garner will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Bryant Cemetery in Seminary.  Special music will be provided by Mrs. Kelly Shows.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Sanford Missionary Baptist Church in Seminary.

Pallbearers will be his cousins, Steve Gieger, Stan Gieger, Greg Faler, Todd Davis, Dale Riels, Tyler Riels, Brian Riels, and Jay Shows.

Mr. Shows was born on February 16, 1966 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.  He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother.  Mr. Shows was the owner of Shows Poultry Farm, and previous business owner of several related poultry services.  He was a member of the Sanford Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, James M. Shows.

Survivors include his wife of thirty three years, Tonia Tyson Shows of Seminary; his mother, Wana Lee Riels Shows of Seminary; one daughter and son-in-law, Payton Shows Conn and Austin Conn of Brandon; one son and daughter-in-law, Drew Taylor Shows and Hannah Kelly Shows of Taylorsville;  three brothers, Jimmy Darrell Shows (Susan), and  Johnny Shows (Kelly), all of Seminary and Maurice Shows (Lisa) of Collins;  two sisters, Karen Shows Anglin (Chad) of Collins and Sharen Shows Hicks (Scotty) of Seminary;  a brother-in-law,  Mick Tyson (Jamie) of Hattiesburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
