David Ellis Boleware

(December 15, 1945 – August 10, 2022)

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Billy M. King – Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for David Ellis Boleware, 76, of Carson, who passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at his residence.

Reverend James Walters will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Oakdale United Methodist Church Cemetery in Seminary.  Special music will be provided by Ms. Annie Kay Rogers and Mr. Howard McGee.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Billy M. King – Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3302 US 49, Collins, MS.

Pallbearers will be Blake Boleware, Kaden Boleware, Kruz Boleware, Jay Dees, Mike Boleware, Brock Hudson, Boddie Quick, and Ashley Reid.

Mr. Boleware was born on December 15, 1945, in Carson, Mississippi.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  Mr. Boleware was retired from Plantation Pipeline after thirty-three years of service as an Operation Maintenance Operator.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.  Mr. Boleware was a member of the Carson United Methodist Church in Carson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Boleware; his mother, Lois Raybon Boleware Gordon; his stepfather, Brown Gordon; one brother, Carey Boleware; and three sisters, Kathleen Windham, JoAnn McPhail, and Gay Cole.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-eight years, Rachel Peterson Boleware of Carson, MS; sons, Reggie Boleware, and his wife, Skarlett of Collins; and Jace Boleware, and his wife, Megan of  Mendenhall; two sisters, Sue Marks, and her husband, Robert of Marco Island, Florida, and Nay Coulter of White Sands, MS; seven grandchildren, Blake Boleware, Montgomery Boleware, Kaden Boleware, Kruz Boleware,  Murray Boleware, Claire Mitchell,  and Peyton Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
