Obituary

A memorial service will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on January 14, 2017 at the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Collins for Debra Kay Caldwell, 57 of Seminary, who passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Covington County Hospital in Collins.

Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Caldwell was born on May 20, 1959 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Mrs. Caldwell was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glendon Arledge Wilkins, and one brother, Johnny Wilkins.

Survivors include her husband, David Neil Caldwell of Seminary; her mother, Frankie Bowling McPhail of Seminary; four daughters, Amanda Otranto of Seminary, Courtney Walters of Sumrall, Cassandra Hills of Seminary, and Charlotte Cordova of Sumrall; two sons, Shane Henry of Ponchatoula, Louisiana and Kyle Caldwell of Sumrall; five sisters, Linda Morgan of Slidell, Louisiana, Janet Rose of Portland, Oregon, Jessica Miller of Collins, Lee Ann McPhail of Huntsville, Alabama, and Roxanne Miller of Collins; five brothers, Robert Wayne McPhail, Jr. of Hattiesburg, James McPhail of Seminary, Richard McPhail of Seminary, Chris Wilkins of Metarie, Louisiana, and Glen Wilkins of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; eleven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
