Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize for Don Orlan Norris, 67 of Collins, who passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Reverend Dewitt Bain will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.

Mr. Norris was born on March 3, 1953 in Collins, Mississippi to Phillip and Bonnie Goodson Norris.  He was a loving son, brother, and uncle.  Mr. Norris retired from Sanderson Farms, Inc. after twenty-five plus years as a service man for the poultry industry. He was a member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Olive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Norris.

Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Goodson Norris of Collins; a sister, Vicki Norris Spencer, and her husband, David of Mount Olive; two nephews, Kevin Spencer, and his wife, Tiffany of Sumrall, and Dustin Spencer of Mount Olive; three great nieces, Trinity Spencer, Kamryn Spencer, and Jadyn Spencer, all of Sumrall; one great nephew, Maddox Spencer of Sumrall; and a host of other family members and friends.
