Donald Ray Lott
(February 20, 1952 – May 3, 2025)

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, May 9, 2025 at the Bullock Cemetery in Seminary for Donald Ray Lott, 73 of Sanford, who passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the Bedford Care Center in Petal, Mississippi.

Reverend Glenn Shoemake will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Bullock Cemetery in Seminary. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Reagan Grimsley, Shaq Graves, Brad Foster, Zac Walley, J.R. Walley, and Billy John Graham.

Ray was born on February 20, 1952, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Valverta and Christine Lott. He was a graduate of Seminary High School class of 1970. He studied at Liberty Christian College in Pensacola, Florida, Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi and The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his father, Valverta Lott;  mother, Christine Lott;  sister, Jeanette Grimsley;  niece, Jennifer Grimsley;  brother-in-laws, Bill Grimsley, Kenny Green and Clifton (Buster) Coleman.

Survivors include his sisters, Evelyn Green of Pascagoula, MS, Gwen Coleman of Big Point, MS.
