Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Mount Olive City Cemetery for Donald Paul Stanchi, 68, of Mount Olive who passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at his residence.


Dr. Bob Phillips will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Mount Olive City Cemetery. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Stanchi was born on December 11, 1944 in Freeport, New York. He was a self-employed painter. Mr. Stanchi was a member of the Episcopal faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Achilles Stanchi and Lorraine Thompson Stanchi; and one brother, Eugene Stanchi.

Survivors include his special loved one and companion, Robin Sullivan of Mount Olive; one son, Donald Paul Stanchi, Jr. and his wife, Danielle of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; one step-son, Shane Sullivan of Magee; two brothers, Kenny Stanchi and his wife, Sue of Labelle, Florida; and Alan Stanchi and his wife, Janet of Ferndale, Washington; two grandchildren, Day Stanchi and Danika Stanchi; five step grandchildren, Chandler Sullivan, Jordan Sullivan, Cameron Sullivan, Tyler Sullivan, and Caden Sullivan; and a host of other family members and friends.
