Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Lone Star Cemetery in Collins for Donna Rathbun Blackburn, 73 of Collins, who passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at the Asbury House in Hattiesburg.

Reverend Rob Webb will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Lone Star Cemetery in Collins.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Cody Blackburn, Zay Speed, David McRaney, Jeffrey Stephens, Johnny Jones, and Colton Jones.

Mrs. Blackburn was born on December 13, 1946.in Jackson, Mississippi.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  Mrs. Blackburn was a graduate of William Carey College with a Bachelor's degree in Education.  She retired after twenty five years of service as a school teacher in the Jefferson Davis and Covington County School Systems.  Mrs. Blackburn was a member of the Prentiss Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irving and Peggy Thompson Rathbun.

Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Charles W. Blackburn of Collins; two sons, Allen Blackburn, and his wife, Susan and William Blackburn, all of Collins; one grandson, Cody Blackburn of Collins; one sister, Pam Martin of New Hebron, and a host of other family members and friends.
