Donna Maxine Fairchild Bounds
(December 19, 1953 – March 2, 2025)

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Donna Maxine Fairchild Bounds, 71 of Seminary, who passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Hattiesburg Health and Rehab in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Reverend Glenn Shoemake will officiate at the services with a priavte family interment to be at a later date in the Union South Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary.  Special music will be provided by Susan and Ricky Deen. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive guests from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, MS.

Donna was born on December 19, 1953, in Ellisville, Mississippi to Willie McDonald "Mac" Fairchild and Elna Rae Brewer Fairchild.  She retired after twenty-five plus years of service as an x-ray technician at numerous hospitals in the area including Covington County, George County, Simpson County, and Hinds County.  Donna was a member of the Baptist faith.  She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and sister.  Donna will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie McDonald "Mac" Fairchild and Elna Rae Brewer Fairchild; her husband, Daniel Bounds; and her daughter, Brandy Leigh Speed Bounds.

Survivors include three step-children, Douglas Bounds, Renee Bounds, and Anna Bounds, all of Rankin County, MS; one sister, Dianne Aultman Robinson (Fred) of New Hebron, MS; two brothers, James Addington (Rita) of Franklin, Kentucky and David Addington of Seminary, MS; an aunt, Carol Berkman of Picayune, MS; an uncle, John Wiley Sullivan of Seminary, MS; and a host of nireces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made in her memory to the Southern Pines Animal Shelter, 1901 North 31st Avenue, Hattiesburg, MS, 39401.
