Obituary

Donnie Earline Farmer Holland

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 01, 2026, at Liberty Baptist Church in Collins, for Donnie Earline Farmer Holland, 90 of Hattiesburg, who passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at her residence.

Brother Michael Miller will officiate at the services with interment to follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 01, 2026, at Liberty Baptist Church, 146 Liberty Road, Collins, Mississippi, 39428.

Her pallbearers will be Joey Mayfield, Jared Miller, Fisher Miller, Jake Miller, Lawson Mayfield, and Dustin Williamson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Farmer, Lance Farmer, Westin Mayfield, and Brandon Farmer.

Mrs. Holland was born on August 05, 1935, in Covington County, Mississippi to Willie Fridge and Velma Whiddon Mooney. She retired from the retail business with Walmart after numerous years of service. Mrs. Holland was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Collins. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Fridge and Velma Grace Whiddon Mooney; and one son, Reggie Farmer.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Earl Holland of Hattiesburg; one son, Eddie Farmer of Collins; two daughters, Rita Gayle Farmer Mayfield (Barry) and Kathy Farmer, all of Collins; one brother, Curtis Mooney (Emma Lou) of Collins; eight grandchildren; Melissa Farmer Randall, Jennifer Farmer, Brandon Farmer, Rebecca Miller, Joey Mayfield, Lance Farmer, Jason Farmer, and Dana Cooley; sixteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
