Dorothy Eubanks Jones, 80, of Collins, MS died Tuesday, September 05, 2017 at Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born Saturday, December 05, 1936 in Covington County, MS.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 06, 2017 from 9:30 AM until 1:00 PM at Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins. Funeral services will be held following the visitation at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Ora Cemetery in Collins, MS. Bro. Dennis Campbell will officiate. Dorothy was a dedicated mother. She was known as "Big Mama and Maw Maw." She cared for many area children at the day care she ran from her home and had the opportunity to impact many lives. After Mr. Fred passed away in 1975, she raised 5 children on her own while operating her day care. She was loved by all and will be sorely missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Travis Eubanks and Estelle Rutland Eubanks; her husband, Fred Jones, Jr.; son-in-law, Dennis Shoemake; siblings, Clarence Eubanks, Ted Eubanks, Jerry Eubanks, John Eubanks, Randy Eubanks, Bill Eubanks, Patricia Sasser and granddaughter, Seanary Gilliam.
