Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Magee City Cemetery in Magee for Dorothy Rhymer Jones, 92 of Collins, who passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Mississippi Care Center in Raleigh.

Brother Roy Craft and Brother Glen Maughon will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Magee City Cemetery.  Special music will be provided by the Kings and Mrs. Louise Maughon.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be George Jones, Floyd Jones, Jr., Lee Jones, Sef Jones, Chad King, Stephen Steed, Conner Steed, and William Spangler.

Mrs. Jones was born on February 6, 1926 in Tamms, Illinois.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.  Mrs. Jones was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Magee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Ellis Jones Sr.; her parents, Jesse Andrew Rhymer and Ora Allen Dover; a son-in-law, Larry Hines; and a granddaughter, Tina Brown.

Survivors include four sons, George Jones of Collins, Jerry Brown (Lillian) of West Union, Iowa, David Stone (Darlene) of Chicago, Illinois, and Floyd E. Jones, Jr. of Biloxi; four daughters, Margie Spangler (Bill) of Union, Missouri,  Kathy J. Hines (Larry) of Nashville, Tennessee, Janet King (Kenny)) of Gallatin, Tennessee, and Jonnie Dingels (Rick) of Chicago, Illinois;  twenty grandchildren; and twenty nine great-grandchildren.
