Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Doyle Ray Seger, 58, of Seminary, Mississippi, who passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Asbury House in Hattiesburg.

Brother Larry Dennis Jr. will officiate at the service with interment to follow in the Ora Cemetery. Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be John Hosey, Tony Dennis, Gary Dewayne Dennis, Jyntre Stroud, Billy Saulters, and Shelton Easterling. Honorary pallbearers will be Oscar Hosey, Blake Hayes, Blade Saulters, and Paul Eubanks.

Mr. Seger was born on June 26, 1960 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Seger was an offshore deckhand by trade. He was a member of the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Mayse Seger and Maudell Seger; and his brother, Terry Glynn Seger.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-eight years, Patricia Seger of Seminary; three sons Michael Shelby Maxwell (Tina) of Arkansas, Donald Dewayne Seger of Collins, and Joel Lynn Seger (Felicia) of Seminary; one daughter, Charlotte Mae Teague (Jason) of Clarksville, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Teddy Seger of Collins and Keith Seger of Ohio; one sister, Donna May Cox of Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
