Ethel Horn Leggett
(October 23, 1930 - May 20, 2021)

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Ethel Horn Leggett, 90 of Seminary, who passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the Bedford Care Center in Hattiesburg.

Reverend Timothy Beard will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Eminence United Methodist Church Cemetery in Seminary. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.

Pallbearers will be Derek Leggett, Danny Leggett, Charles Goldman, Brent Wade, Michael Thrash, and Cayden Thrash.

Mrs. Ethel was born on October 23, 1930 in Mize, Mississippi to Clarence and Dovie Sullivan Horn. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Ethel was a member of the Eminence United Methodist Church in Seminary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Dovie Sullivan Horn; her husband, James Pat Leggett; and two sons, James Leggett and Michael Leggett.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Alisha Dye of Petal, James Michael Leggett of Meridian, and Melissa Leggett Wade, and her husband, Jeremy of Seminary; four great-grandchildren, Derek Leggett, Andrew Wade, Rachel Wade and Joseph Wade; and a host of other family members and friends.
